What is JMUN?

CHIREC Junior Model United Nations (JMUN) is a platform where students step into the shoes of diplomats, debating and solving pressing global issues. Through collaborative dialogue and creative problem-solving, delegates develop critical thinking, public speaking, and negotiation skills while exploring diverse perspectives on international affairs.

Dear Delegates, It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to the 5th Edition of CHIREC Junior Model United Nations. Over the years, CHIREC JMUN has become more than just a conference. It has grown into a space where young minds come together to learn, question, and lead. This year, we aim to continue the legacy by creating an environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and collaboration. For many delegates, JMUN marks the beginning of their MUN journey; a first step into the world of diplomacy, debate, and global affairs. It's where ideas take shape, voices grow stronger, and future leaders begin to discover their potential. Our goal this year is to make CHIREC JMUN 2025 not only educational, but also truly inspiring and memorable. Each committee has been carefully designed to challenge delegates to think critically, research deeply, and engage meaningfully with global issues. Whether you are a first-time participant or a returning delegate, we hope this conference allows you to express yourself, learn from others, and most importantly, enjoy the process of discovery.
